This is a revised version of the Octet I posted back in May 2021.
The instrumentation is the same as Schubert's Octet and the many others that followed. The third and fifth movements are written using a tone row that is sort of rooted in the chords of the second half of the second movement (G D Bb C F A Db Ab E Gb B Eb). The fourth movement is meant to be a theme and variations. Overall I thought this piece would particularly benefit from the new VSTs that musescore 4 utilises, hope you enjoy.
